Windsor 2025 Day Two

By: Vivi, Sophie and Abigail

Hello sisters and brothers of Christ! Today we woke up difficultly because of the time change but we sucked it up and got ready for a day of fun! Because we were so early for church (cause we were pumped up), we decided to play at the park. We drove our vans 20 feet across the road to get to the Ambassador Community Church parking lot from the park. We learned about a woman’s story about her journey with cancer and how she had to rely on God’s strength, and it was very moving. She taught us an acronym for the word H.O.P.E. (Honest. Open. Personal. Exercise in faith.) After the service we had a potluck where we had MORE pizza! At the potluck we mixed in with the congregation where we met people and learned their stories and told ours. We even met some kids participating in our day camp later this week. After we cleaned up, we started our route to hand out flyers but sadly there weren’t enough flyers so Abigail, Sophie, Charlotte, Tymon, Brooklynn and Jacob went to Staples to print out more to finish the route. A couple of the girls put messages of how God loves us in staple boxes. We finished our route where Vivi’s group met a kitty (named Whisker’s) and a goose (named Peter). After a bit of rest, we headed out to eat dinner at Dairy Queen where we made piles of cups and fries. Later we went to a park with a giant mountain and a great view but sadly it was very muddy, but the view made up for it. We played grounders on the park (the best one so far), and filmed a funny video before heading back to the church. We did a debrief about our day and are now playing manhunt while we are writing the blog. Stay tuned for the next episode and apply to Brain Rot University (population us). God loves you, peace.
