Ways to Give at Compass
Your generosity helps continue our mission of seeing the spiritual transformation of people, families, and communities, in our region and globally. Your gift helps us be known by love and makes a huge difference.

At Compass Community Church, we are committed to moving forward in faith and mission to our community. We are grateful for the generous ways people from Compass have given in the past. This year again, the needs are pressing, but we also recognize that these are uncertain financial times, which is why we are reducing our goal by nearly half. This spring we are trusting God to help us raise $50,000. This is an amount that reflects both our needs and our awareness of the times.
This the Forward Spring Financial Challenge will support three critical areas of ministry:
-
Our summer camps are a life-changing, faith shaping experiences for our kids and families in Orangeville, Shelburne, and Grand Valley. We rely on government funding through the Canada Summer Jobs Program to help pay the students who work on our camp staff, but these grants are uncertain and have been decreasing yearly. Additionally, we want to ensure that no child misses out on camp due to financial need. Your support will help us provide camp scholarships and secure the staff we need to continue this vital program.
-
The chairs used for our mid-week programs: Compass Students, Compass Women, Compass Men, Weddings, Funerals and other gatherings in the North Venue at our Orangeville Site are well beyond their lifespan. These chairs, originally used for Sunday worship years ago, are now breaking and for safety reasons urgently need replaced.
-
For years, our church has relied on donated office furniture. Our boardroom chairs are used for ministry teams meetings, training, interviews, video conferencing, planning and by our Financial Tellers team. They are in serious need of replacement. Investing in proper seating will help us create a more functional and welcoming space for our team and ministry work.
How You Can Participate
Your gift of any amount will make a tangible impact:
$100 – Provides a stackable chair (300 needed)

When you give sacrificially you are demonstrating your trust in God, declaring him as your first priority and participating with him on mission. When you give there are practical financial benefits and significant spiritual blessings.
Make your giving an act of worship and a step of faith because Jesus first gave to us (2 Cor. 8:9).
All the giving options are easy and accessible to you. Donations by cheque can also be mailed to Compass Community Church, Box 86, Orangeville, ON, L9W 2Z5.
